An Indulgent and Healthy Breakfast
Peanut butter and chocolate.
Seriously, there is no better combination. My go-to sweet treat is a dark chocolate peanut butter cup from Trader Joe’s (ok, I actually eat two).
A couple years ago, I went through a major oatmeal phase. Every morning I was experimenting with oatmeal flavors. They were all usually very tasty. But eating a peanut butter cup in oatmeal form? Now that one takes the cake.
1-2 Tbsp cocoa powder
Stevia (or sweetener of choice, to taste)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 Tbsp peanut butter
Chocolate chips (I like dark chocolate)
When oatmeal reaches desired consistency, remove from heat and stir in cocoa powder, sweetener, and vanilla. Transfer to a bowl and top with peanut butter and chocolate chips. Enjoy!
